Vegetarian Options On Campus
"Penn State Campus Dining uses vegan soup base. The vegan tofu scrambler and sunrise pancakes are available made-to-order at each dining commons (open for breakfast and brunch). Original-flavored, Vanilla, and Chocolate soy beverage, Berkey Creamery plain, as well as strawberry vegetarian yogurt, and a vegan hot dog are available for your convenience in the "Natural Life" refrigerator at every dining commons. The vegan BocaBurger™ is also available upon request. If you have a taste for an alternative vegan protein source, select from a wide array of nuts and trail mixes or Tomato Basil Baked Tofu at our salad bars."
In addition to all of this, there is a vegan entree at every dinner in any given residence area! There are several more meatless items each meal. It is probably best to check the daily menu before you head to the commons to familiarize yourself with the options.

Meatless items are denoted with an "M", while vegan products are marked with a "V".

The current menu served in the dining commons includes many vegetarian and some vegan recipes. Thank you for being among the progressive schools that offer options for students looking for healthy, lactose-free, or kosher meals.
It is important to me that there are a wider variety of vegan options provided in the dining commons. I would love to see vegan products such as non-dairy cheese, faux sausage, and vegan ice cream.
Thank you for your time, consideration, and dedication to the Penn State community.
